Madison's Bugg three-peats in Newark Academy Invitational

Madison's Caroline Bugg, a junior at Newark Academy, raced to her third straight title in the Newark Academy Cross Country Invitational contested in Livingston on Saturday. Bugg was clocked in 19 minutes, 27 seconds as she completed the 3.1-mile course in Essex County.
In the boys division, Montclair-Kimberley's Oskar Nordenbring claimed his second straight title when he posted a time of 16 minutes, 3 seconds.
St. Benedict's Prep successfully defended its title in the boys division while Oak Knoll putpointed Villa Walsh Academy 38-82 to repeat as the girls champion.
